Your Ocean Villa is in an ideal location for the many choices of great value restaurants, sidewalk cafes and bars. Your villa is surrounded by lots of interesting things to do that the whole family can enjoy. For example, the ‘Ocean Villa’ has easy access to the many beaches of Goa which have lots of water sport activities for the adventurous. Calangute Beach is a central point between Baga and Candolim beaches and shopping areas and has its own bustling local market selling all kinds of interesting products, fresh seafood and souvenirs from all the far corners of India.
Area Description
Once a small fishing village, Calangute is now the central holiday destination in Goa but it still retains its charm, and is a delightful place to stay. It is quite safe. There are an abundance of outdoor cafes, restaurants and bars along the beaches. The food is good and incredibly cheap. In the town there is a picturesque open market with some excellent shops. It also boasts a popular daily market of Tibetan and Kashmiri artifacts for sale. The night life is world renowned. Calangute lies within easy reach of many local attractions such as markets, waterfalls, animal sanctuaries, temples and Old Portuguese houses and churches. There are many water sports including jet-skiing, parachute gliding, banana boat riding and snorkeling etc. which are a delight in the warm climate. This resort is an ideal destination for families and couples of all ages, who appreciate the terrific all year round climate with temperatures rarely dropping below 70F.

Calangute is very well served by buses, which will take you to all parts of Goa. Taxis are also very cheap and freely available.
